Our goal is to touch the world and make a difference in the lives of individuals. We accomplish this by responding in practical ways and partnering with organizations to bring immediate relief. When disaster strikes many people are left to pick up the broken pieces of their lives. Whether it’s a tragedy or natural disaster, we move with urgency to extend a helping hand and actively participate in bringing hope in crisis situations.

HFS EMPOWERMENT NETWORK
PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

The activities of HFS are grouped into four primary initiatives supported by a strong administrative branch.? Each of the four groups, while having a specific set of objectives and a targeted client base, operate both independently and in concert with each other to maximize service delivery.?? The Network?s primary initiatives are described below.

HFS Project Change Program | Assisting Lives in the transition from incarcerationPROJECT C.H.A.N.G.E.

Project C.H.A.N.G.E. is a transformational concept energizing individuals and communities to recover from devastating personal challenges and reconstruct forward-moving lives. Project C.H.A.N.G.E. has multiple components all designed to educate, equip and empower.

Project C.H.A.N.G.E. International is the organizational unit of HFS responsible for ensuring development, modification, delivery and outcome management of the Project C.H.A.N.G.E. series and provides oversight to the following types of activities:

  • Professional Development
  • Housing and employment preparation for homeless adults
  • Substance Use treatment

HFS | Center of Excellence | Program supporting the social and developmental needsCENTER OF EXCELLENCE

The Center of Excellence provides a unique approach to identifying and magnifying the greatness in everyone.? It is the organizational unit of the Network that is focused on the holistic well-being, that is, mind, body and spirit of individuals, families and communities.? Center of Excellence promotes self realization through a variety of individual, group and community services that assist participants to identify embrace and then overcome the challenges in their lives.? Through the use of traditional, creative and holistic interventions, the Center of Excellence serves its targeted participants through:

  • Mental Health counseling for youth, adults and families
  • Leadership and professional development
  • Seminars and workshops

HFS | CARE Program | Humanitarian Aid for those in need

C.A.R.E | CARING ARMS REACHING EVERYONE

HFS has historically been on the ground to partner with individuals and communities following distressing events. ??Through this initiative, we respond in practical ways to bring immediate relief in times of disaster and devastation.? Additionally, we offer concern and global support through ongoing activities such as:

  • Shelter outreach
  • Food pantries
  • Back to School
  • Disaster relief
  • Children Destined for Greatness (CDG)
    • Children of Inmates (COI)
    • Adopt an Orphan ? child sponsorship program

HFS Life Center | Retreats, Bible Study, Men's EmpowermentLIFE CENTER

The Life Center embodies the heart of HFS?s faith-based origins and is committed to helping people grow spiritually and connect with God and each other. We offer regular and seasonal opportunities for gathering as a community.? The Life Center is responsible for developing and implementing:

  • Retreats and Conferences
  • Evangelism
  • Spiritual Enrichment
  • Youth Empowerment
  • Men?s Empowerment
  • Missions
  • Prayer Support

Healing for the Soul Empowerment Network, Inc. is a registered 501c3 not-for profit organization in the United States and a charitable organization in Barbados.? We are governed by a Board of Directors, staffed by a team of volunteers and funded of partners.
